Visitation/Parenting Time

Visitation / Parenting Time

A parenting time schedule must be created that serves the child’s best interests. In some cases, this is a 50/50 schedule, but not in every case. Factors such as the parents’ locations, their ability to co-parent, and the child’s needs and activities are considered in determining what is best for the child. If the parents do not reach an agreement, the court may appoint an attorney to act as a Guardian ad Litem to represent the child’s best interests, or experts to make recommendations as to what schedule is in the child’s best interests.

The attorneys at Collins Family Law are highly skilled at negotiating a schedule that is best for the child and our client.
